East Lyme Child Care Programs are offered throughout the academic year as well as Summer months to meet your family care needs. We provide a safe and fun environment that allows each child to explore, socialize and play.
East Lyme Public Schools offers a quality early childhood experience for preschool age children during the school year as well as the summer, intended to be a positive initial school experience and springboard into Kindergarten.
The East Lyme Public School Child Care Programs have been recognized as some of the best programs on the shoreline. We offer quality care with competitive fees compared to those of the surrounding area programs. Our school year programs are offered at each individual elementary school; we offer before and after school care as well as "non-school day" care, which includes half and full professional development days, half and full parent-teacher conferences, and some specified vacation days. Our Summer programs are offered out of Flanders Elementary School.
Our Child Care Programs are staffed with dedicated employees who cherish their time with your children and pride themselves in creating a safe enriching environment. The flexible group structure allows each student to explore new interests as well as strengthen their existing social skills.
